Apprenticeships

The remuneration is based on the collective agreement for the private insurance industry. The currently valid allowances can be found in the job advertisements.

In recent years, a takeover offer has been made to all trainees. Good performance during training is a prerequisite for this.

The apprenticeship regulation provides for a three-year training period. This can be shortened if you have previous knowledge or good performance during the training.

You will get to know your mentor even before you start your apprenticeship. At the Sponsorship Festival, you have the opportunity to meet the other trainees of your year for the first time. Getting to know each other is intensified during the introductory days, which make it easier for you to arrive at the VHV Group. You will then have block lessons at the vocational school (in Berlin, school takes place two days a week) alternating with practical phases in the VHV. Here, you will go through different groups of your training focus, which will diversify your everyday training routine. Your education is supported by internal and external training. At the end of your apprenticeship, we will provide you with intensive exam preparation so that you are well prepared for it.

As long as the jobs are published, we are looking for new talents. Otherwise, the earlier you apply, the higher is the probability that we still have a place available for you.
