Product development in one of our speciality areas, active participation in digitisation in our IT unit, exciting insights into our marketing universe, or maybe you’d prefer to focus on capital investment?
In our 24-month trainee program, you learn all about the various units of our group. As you cycle through four practical assignments, we work with you to find out which areas will allow you to best contribute your personal strengths.

With additional training options in the fields of controlling, soft skills, leadership and project management, you can adapt the modules of the Young Professionals Program to your individual interests.

To perfectly prepare you for your professional future, you take part in training courses on interesting topics like risk management, digital transformation, sustainability or even Business English. In addition, you have an opportunity to build valuable relationships during regular networking meetings, and gain intriguing insights into our top management.
To allow you to focus completely on building your future with the VHV Group, we provide you with an open-ended employment contract from the beginning.
Getting started
Application
Step by step guide to entering the trainee program: We take you through the application process and show you what to expect.

Application
On our online portal, you can upload your application, college transcripts and any work references you already have.

Online tests
After we have thoroughly reviewed your documents, we invite you to take two online-based tests. These are designed, among other things, to examine your logical thinking skills.

Video interview
Once you have successfully passed the online tests, we get to know each other better in an initial video interview.

Getting-to-know-you day
After the interview, we invite you to our head office in Hanover, where you will be given a case study and an opportunity to meet other trainees.
