The aim of the program is to train tomorrow’s leaders for the VHV Group. In the Future Leaders Program, you build the foundation of your career and receive exclusive insights into the leadership of the VHV Group.
For about three years, you fill the role of executive assistant for one of our board members, working closely with them on both a strategic and operational level. You increasingly take responsibility for your own projects. In addition, you take part in the Junior Leaders Programme and are effectively prepared for your first leadership position in the VHV Group.
Cooperation with the executive board
As an executive assistant, you work closely with one of our board members, gaining valuable insights into the strategic orientation and decision-making processes of the company. You prepare decision papers, reports, business analyses and presentations.
Project work
During the program, you participate in strategic projects and initiatives that contribute to the growth and success of the VHV Group. You will be actively involved in the development, implementation and monitoring of these projects.
Leadership Training
By taking part in our 15-month Junior Leaders Program, you enjoy comprehensive training courses on leadership, team management, conflict resolution, communication and other relevant skills that will prepare you for your future leadership responsibilities.
Networking
During your work and the Junior Leaders Programme, you forge valuable contacts within the company and the industry.
Academic background
You have completed your master’s or diploma program with above-average success – a doctorate or MBA are a plus.
International experience
You gained international experience as part of your studies or previous work assignments, for instance during an internship.
Commitment
You are active outside the lecture hall as well – we greatly respect your voluntary commitment.
Skills
Apart from a head for business and performance orientation, you know how to convince others of your views. Networking is also one of your strengths.
Language skills
You have excellent German and English language skills, both verbal and written.

After we have closely reviewed your documents, we will invite you to take two online-based tests. These are designed to assess your logical thinking skills, among other things.
After you have successfully taken the online tests, we will invite you to a personal interview at our offices in Hannover to get to know you.
If you have impressed us during the interview, you take part in a one-day assessment centre. This will include a case study, where you can demonstrate your business-oriented and economic talents.
If everything has worked out well so far, the next step is to meet your executive board member.
