Your responsibilities
- Integrated examination of our IT and the processes behind it.
- Daily exchange with other areas in an advisory capacity.
- Regular maintenance and optimisation of existing processes.
- Implementing new processes based on existing processes to continuously standardise them.
- In an effort to address individual requirements, the VHV Group has established an in-house software development department to provide lasting and secure software solutions.
- Configuration and adaptation of modules like SAP FS-CD (actuarial calculations) to satisfy any specific requirements.
- Analysis of existing business processes and their optimisation with the aid of SAP systems to make processes more efficient.
- Ensuring the flawless integration of SAP systems with other internal and external IT systems.
- Support with correcting technical malfunctions and training employees to ensure efficient use of the system.
- Continuous development of systems by implementing new functions and advising the specialist areas on new SAP solutions.
- Processing and analysing large amounts of data from different sources, such as damage data or customer data, to detect patterns and trends.
- Developing models, e.g. to assess the risk of damage or predict customer attrition.
- Implementing machine-learning algorithms to automate processes, such as damage recording or fraud detection.
- Preparing reports and data visualisations to help decision-makers to take decisions based on data.
- Close cooperation with the departments for risk, actuarial office, IT and sales to develop and implement data-driven solutions.
- Key role in agile project management
- Support of development teams with applying Scrum principles to guarantee efficient and smooth cooperation.
- Identification and removal of obstacles that could hinder the progress of the team.
- Organisation and facilitation of Scrum meetings
- Promoting close cooperation between the development teams, product owners and other stakeholders to ensure quick and flexible reaction to changes and requirements.
- Producing applications for other areas like the claims processors or the department to automate recurring processes and support and simplify complex issues.
- Implementing failsafes to keep the probability of malfunctions or failures of applications to a minimum.
- Providing the right infrastructure and the right selection of application operations for the respective requirements.
- Our application analysts maintain direct exchange with our different areas to record technical requirements and advise on the possibilities for technical implementation.
- Our application developers technically implement the discussions of the application analysts.
